      There are scientists that study meteors moving around in space by following their orbits using satellites already in space.

      I, however, study meteorites, which are what we call meteors once they have landed on the Earth’s surface. Meteorites are much rarer as many meteors burn up in Earth’s atmosphere and don’t make it onto the surface of the Earth in one piece, a bit like the one in Russia last year, Chelyabinsk!
