  I’m in a lucky position, where my only job is to work on my research projects. I don’t have to teach or have any other duties. So, I spend all my time on my projects. This is normally about 40-50 hours per week. I often work on weekends and evenings, not because I have to, but because I love what I do.

I work full time for a private company, so I get paid to do research all day. But that also means I spend at least 8 hours every day working on my project– about the same as Nate.
