I would definitely want to see if it is possible to observe somehow (maybe just even indirectly) those other Universes!

One way of doing that might be to build even more powerful telescopes so we can look even further out in our Universe, close to the big bang. This way, we might be able to pick up some faint signals that are “seeping in” from another Universe.

Another way of doing that might be by building a very sensitive experiment to measure gravity between small objects that are very close by – less than 1 mm apart. If we can do that, we might be able to see extra dimensions that are too small to be seen normally — and that’s where some of those other universes might be hidden. I’d love to do that!

If the multiverse theory was a reality, there would be so many things that we as scientists would want to do! I guess one of the most important ones would be to try and observe one of these other universes if we could! The existence of them would be one thing to confirm but to actually observe them would be incredible!

As Roberto has mentioned, there are different ways to do this; either we could look for those far away by using a new, more powerful telescope than previously imagined or we could try and focus on small ones that are essentially ‘hidden’. Either way, we would still be going about this discovery quite blind as we wouldn’t really know where to look, which is both quite incredible and quite scary at the same time!
