I believe that our consciousness simply stops after death, in the same way as what happened before we were born.

Of course, I would like my consciousness to go on forever, with no pain or suffering, in total happiness.

I don’t know! I was raised in a religious household, but I’m don’t practise any religion now. I think we just cease to be. After death, our consciousness just stops I think.

No one knows what happens after we die, it’s very hard, or even impossible, to tell. It would be good if everyone still existed in some way after we die though!

I don’t believe that much, if anything, happens after we die. I guess that is the same for most non-religious people, we have made our peace with the fact that we just cease to exist.

I am happy with knowing that one day, I will no longer be here because that knowledge is making me strive to do and understand as much as I possibly can whilst I am here!

I don’t know what happens after death. It’s hard to imagine that our consciousness, our desires, our feelings, everything we have been during our life time simply stops — but there is no scientific evidence that something else happens.

It’s nice to think of your loved ones who are no longer here to be inhabiting now another place — perhaps it’s just a place in your mind, as long as you remember them. So as long as you remember them, you keep them alive in some way and you are giving them a sort of life after death.
