A rock known as ‘Zagami’ is the biggest rock we have from Mars. It is a meteorite composed of silicate minerals similar to the rocks we find at volcanoes on Earth such as in Hawaii or Iceland.

It was found in 1962 in Nigeria and had a total mass of ~18 kg, which is huge for a Martian rock! Most of the Mars rocks we have are tiny in comparison, less than 500 g!
