      Swimming in “the devil’s pool” in the Zambezi river, right on the edge of Victoria Falls. You can actually look out over the edge, and down 108m to the bottom, as water is rushing all around you. You don’t go over the falls because the water isn’t too strong there, and also there are big boulders beneath the surface that you can hold on to.

      Probably hiking across the lava flows on Hawaii in the dark to see the hot lava cascading out of Kilauea volcano! The sky was clear as well so the stars were amazingly bright, and you could see the rivers of lava from the volcano.

      Throwing myself down from a cliff overlooking Rio the Janeiro on a paraglider — you take three steps and everything goes quiet: you are airborne like a bird, and this magical city unfolds all below you. Unforgettable.
