  The most recent dead stars I’ve found were 7 white dwarfs in our galaxy. I was looking for new white dwarfs in a cluster called Alpha Persei. I found 7 new white dwarfs, but none of them belong to the cluster – they’re all in front of it or behind it unfortunately.
