      Yes! As long as they bring enough fuel anyway… Because the Moon’s gravity is only about a sixth as strong as the Earth’s, the spacecraft that the astronauts land in, and the astronauts themselves, only weigh a sixth of their normal weight. This means it’s a lot easier to get off the moon than the earth, so you don’t need much fuel or particularly powerful rockets. (It also means you can jump really high on the moon!). As soon as you get off the moon you can use the Earth’s gravity to pull you home! All of the Astronauts that went to the moon (I think there were twelve in total) came back safely, plus a lot of moon rocks!
